**The initial Pediatric Examination includes a fecal examination to check for intestinal parasites.
** Heartworm prevention should be started at 6 weeks of age. The cost of Heartworm prevention varies according to the type of prevention used and the weight of the dog.
**Outside dogs and dogs exposed to tick infested areas should be vaccinated for Lyme’s Disease. Two vaccinations are recommended initially and then once a year.
**Hunting, and dogs that go on family camping trips in areas that rattlesnakes exist, should be vaccinated with the Rattlesnake Vaccine. Two Vaccinations are recommended initially and then once a year.
